Associate Auditor

Description:

Successful candidates will perform procedures related to audits,financial compliance, and assessments for local and state government.

Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills:

Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Have an understanding of basic accounting knowledge and how transactions flow through a general ledger and financial statements.
Strong communication skills both in writing and in person.
Analyze audit documentation
Ability to understand and assess internal controls

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting
Eligible to sit for the CPA examination
Minimum GPA of a 3.0 or higher, either overall or in accounting classes, is strongly desired.
